RESOURCES

Welcome to the Elkton Area Community Center, where communities and families come first! Serving the East Rockingham and surrounding areas, the EACC offers a diverse array of amenities and programming for everyone in the community, including reservable spaces for social and professional events, and athletic programs for those of all ages and abilities.

Monthly and Yearly memberships are available, and walk-in fees are $3.00 for Rockingham County residents and $4.00 for non-county residents. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times unless attending a class or special event.

We are continually growing and changing to meet the needs of the community.

Classes Offered

StrongFigure Boot Camp

Each workout will be designed for you to get a total body strength and conditioning workout: you’ll warm up, stretch, perform strength work, interval cardio exercises, followed by a cool down with more stretches. Every workout will combine our special style of strength + HIIT to help condition the body, build lean muscle, burn stubborn body fat, and increase overall health and wellness. 

All workouts will be taught by certified group fitness coaches from StrongFigure Bootcamp, located out of Harrisonburg, VA. Please bring an exercise mat, a water bottle, and appropriate workout attire! Leave the rest to us.

​Betsy Dean Dancing Fitness Classes

Offers various classes for all fitness levels that include strength training and cardio dance, all set to positive and energizing music. Fitness classes are based on taking care of the whole person; body, mind and spirit.

Recreation Programs

Elkton Rec Senior Program

  • 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 11:00 am.

Gymnastics Classes

  • Ages 3-18 years old with Beginner, Intermediate and Cheer Tumbling

  • Classes are held year round and participants are placed per their ability and age

  • Classes $40 per month.

EACC Membership Fees

 

Everyone using the EACC must have a membership. If you choose not to join with a membership you may pay the daily fee. Paying the daily fee will allow you the same access to the facility as a membership. Membership at the center includes the computer lab, walking track, Nautilus and Cardio fitness equipment and game area. Classes and other events may have an extra charge.

The Elkton Area Community Center is proud to be a participating location in the Silver Sneakers Program!  SilverSneakers  encourages older adults to participate in physical activities that will help them to maintain greater control of their health.  Many insurance companies as well as Medicare Advantage plans cover SilverSneakers programs.  This means that the costs of your EACC membership may be covered! What does SilverSneakers include?
SilverSneakers includes a network of fitness facilities that includes access to thousands of gyms. You will be able to use any participating location. With SilverSneakers, you’ll be able to use amenities like weight machines, treadmills, ellipticals, pools, walking tracks, and group exercise classes.
