The Elkton Area Community Center, a joint project by the Town of Elkton and Rockingham County is now open to serve the citizens of eastern Rockingham County and surrounding areas. The center offers many resources including meeting rooms, fitness equipment, a walking track, computer lab, commercial kitchen, aerobics and gymnastics facilities, batting cages, shuffleboard, pool and ping-pong tables, classes, special events and much more. Monthly and Yearly memberships are available and walk-in fees are $2.00 for Rockingham County residents and $3.00 for non-county residents. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times unless attending a class or special event.
