§ 77-1. Permit required.

A permit shall be required for the construction of a driveway across a sidewalk or across that portion of the street between the curbline and the property line. This permit is issued from the office of the Town Superintendent only upon the application by the owner of the property.

§ 77-2. Responsibility for construction arrangements.

The permittee shall make his or her own arrangements for the construction authorized under the permit, which construction shall be done in accordance with specifications and under the supervision of the Town Superintendent.

§ 77-3. Permit fee.

A flat fee of $2 shall be charged for each permit required under § 77-1.

§ 77-4. Violations and penalties.

It shall be an offense for any person to fail to abide by this chapter, and any person found guilty thereof shall be subject to a fine not to exceed $250. Each day any violation of this chapter shall continue shall constitute a separate offense.
