§ 16-1. Operation, authority and duties.

The Elkton Volunteer Fire Company shall operate and shall be clothed with such authority and perform such duties as provided for by the Charter and the Code of the Town of Elkton and other ordinances of the town, the laws of the state, and more particularly Title 27 of the Code of Virginia.

§ 16-2. Fire Chief.

The Fire Chief shall be elected by the volunteer members of the Town Fire Department for a specified term.
